duane-headshotHow I Work

Customer service is a priority for me. I cater to you. I am a diligent, organized, intuitive teacher.

What I Provide

I provide classes at a competitive cost at YOUR location.

Classes offered are: CPR/AED, First Aid, Oxygen Administration, Blood Borne Pathogens, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). All classes are taught by EMT and Paramedics with both field and teaching experience.

I sell AEDs. Free, on-site training is provided.

Let me consult with you about our Cardiac Science, Defibtech, Heartsine, Philips, Physio Control, and Zoll AEDs. AEDs are the small portable defibrillators that are used by the general public in cases of Cardiac Arrest. High quality CPR and AED’s are vital in the resuscitation of people who suffer a SCA (Sudden Cardiac Arrest). Unlike other suppliers, we provide free training with the purchase of every AED.

My Qualifications

I started my EMS career in 1980, certifying as an EMT and a CPR instructor. I certified as a Paramedic in 1985 and an EMT instructor in 1990. In 1994, I started teaching EMT and advanced EMT classes full time. In 1998 I went to work in a hospital setting, and started working part time for an air ambulance service. My work in the hospital led me to a wonderful learning experience, working in the ICU, ER and then the heart cath lab for 10 plus years. I have been on the board of various local, regional, state and national associations of EMS.

I have taught more than 50 EMT and Advanced EMT classes, and I am a Clinical Educator for the EZ IO.

Why Do Business With Me

Most instructors teach the content, and the participants leave with a card. Many tell me that the class was so boring, they really didn’t learn the material, and didn’t leave with confidence that they were prepared.

I am changing that. I not only teach the content, but deliver a fun and enjoyable atmosphere. Students leave my classes knowing that they can perform in an emergency.
